Idin Samimi Mofakham – Rajaz
Idin sier om verket: – Rajaz – Concerto for Tenor horn and chamber ensemble (2013) Performance info : March 11 2014, Leuven-Belgium, Geert Callaert (Conductor), Tim De Maeseneer (Tenor Horn). LUCA Ensemble.Iranians celebrate the longest and the darkest night of the year through the festival called Shab-e Yalda. During the winter solstice, they gather and tell each other the stories, celebrating the possibility of being with each other and slowly overcoming the darkness. My story for you in this wintertime is «Rajaz», inspired by the rhythmic structures in the verses of the epic «Shahnameh» by the 10th-century Persian poet Ferdowsi. Let its calm development, long-breath shaped melodies, and playful rhythmical plays bring happiness and light to everybody’s hearts.

Ole Karsten Sundlisæter – Net
Ole Karsten sier om verket: Net er sistesatsen i klarinett-suiten «The Clarinet». Musikere er klarinettist Stefan Soskic og pianist Per Arne Frantzen.
